Teen Writers

Tuesdays (Class will not meet on February 18 & April 7)
4:30pm – 5:30pm
Students are introduced to many genres and forms and are encouraged to share their writing samples in poetry, short stories, skits, novels and plays. Our program will be facilitated by an author of 18 educational books, 4 books of poetry, and has been a 3-time nominee for Georgia Author of the Year Award in poetry.

Costs: Member $10 per semester Non-Members $15 per semester

2020 High School Creative Writing Contest

Entry Deadline: January 17
Celebration Luncheon: March 3,12pm 
This annual competition organized by the Carrollton Writers Guild and the Center for the Arts features poetry and short stories by students in grades 9–12. Entry forms are available at local schools and at the center. Writers will be notified by phone on February 7, 2020.
