The Carroll Symphony Orchestra provides instruction in brass, woodwinds, strings and percussion by professional teachers who actively perform with orchestras throughout the Southeast. Beginners will start with a stringed instrument. Loaner violins can be provided to string students. Carrollton Youth Spring Show Choir

Thursdays (Class will not meet on April 9)
4:45pm – 6:30pm

Show Choir teaches good vocal production, proper breathing technique, choral blending and good stage presence. The theme for the end of class showcase on May 15 is Rise Up!
Ages: 8-16

Guitar Lessons By Ear

Tuesdays
6pm – 7pm

For people that do not read music but have always wanted to play the guitar. Musicians will learn single-note soloing and chording.
Ages: 8+

West African Drumming

Fridays, Through May 8
4pm – 5:30pm

Students will learn the fundamentals of drumming and dance rhythms through play and exploration. At the end of the semester, we will demonstrate our skills with parents and friends.

Carroll County Community Chorus

Founded in 1979, the Carroll County Community Chorus is open to anyone at least 18 years old that loves to sing. The chorus sings two concerts a year and interested singers can join at the beginning of each season. Conductor, Jack Gantt, has been in the chorus for 6 years and our accompanist, Jan Adams, has been with the chorus for more than 30 years. No auditions required. Choral members are required to provide their own performance dress. Rehearsals for Spring Concert begin on January 6 from 7pm – 9pm. Must join by Jan. 20, 2020, to be in the Spring Concert, “Bring Me Back to Carrollton,” April 3-4.
