The Carroll Symphony Orchestra provides instruction in brass, woodwinds, strings and percussion by professional teachers who actively perform with orchestras throughout the Southeast. Carrollton Young Singers

Thursdays, August 27 – May 13
4 – 5pm

Students in this new choir will learn basic music terminology, how to sight-read, breath control, harmonization, stage presence, potential solo opportunities and will sing a variety of musical genres, from classic Christmas carols, to show tunes. 
Ages: 8-12

Carrollton Youth Chorus

5:15 – 6:15pm

Students in Youth Choir will participate in public performances and expand their knowledge of music terminology, ear training and sight reading. Musicians will explore a variety of genres and singing styles.

Group Guitar Lessons By Ear

Tuesdays, August 25 – December 8
6pm – 7pm

For people that do not read music but have always wanted to play the guitar. Musicians will learn single-note soloing and chording. Some guitars are provided.
Ages: 13+
Class Size: 10 Max.

Carroll County Community Chorus

The Carroll County Community Chorus was organized in the fall of 1979. The chorus is open to anyone at least 18 years old that loves to sing. The group presents two concerts a year and interested singers can join at the beginning of each season. Chorus conductor is Jack Gantt and accompanist is Jan Adams. No auditions are required to join. Members must provide their own performance dress. For more information, visit www.carrolltonarts.org or call Jack Gantt at 678-313-4366. Rehearsals for holiday concert begin September 14, 7pm – 9pm. Performance Dates: Dec 11 (7:30pm) & Dec 12 (4pm & 7:30pm). You must join by September 28 to be in the holiday concert, Christmas in Carrollton.
