The Carroll Symphony Orchestra provides instruction in brass, woodwinds, strings and percussion by professional teachers who actively perform with orchestras throughout the Southeast. Beginners will start with a stringed instrument. Loaner violins can be provided to string students. Please contact Terry Lowry at firstname.lastname@example.org for a placement meeting. Carrollton Youth Chorus
Thursdays, August 22 – December 12 (Will not meet Oct. 10, Nov. 28)
4:45pm – 6:30pm
Chorus focuses on the elements of vocal performance and some music theory. Youth Chorus will perform Waltz of the Snowflakes in this year’s production of The Nutcracker Ballet and songs from Polar Express with the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and an end of course presentation.

Performance will be held prior to the choral concert on December 12, at 6pm, followed by caroling downtown.
Cost: Members $120 per semester / Non-Members $140 per semester (fees can be paid in monthly installments)
Group Guitar Lessons by Ear
Tuesdays, August 20 – October 29 (Will not meet Oct. 8)
6pm – 7pm
For people that do not read music but have always wanted to play the guitar. Musicians will learn single-note soloing and chording.
Class Size: Up to 10 musicians

Carroll County Community Chorus
Beginning in the fall of 1979, the Carroll County Community Chorus was organized to give a Christmas Gift to the Community. The success of that present has now continued for 39 years. The Chorus is open to anyone at least 18 years and older that love to sing. The Chorus sings two concerts a year and interested singers can join at the beginning of each season.
