Carrollton Artist Guild

The three main objectives of the Carrollton Artists Guild are to educate, inspire and promote its members. The Guild meets the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 6:30pm at the Carrollton Center for the Arts. They are responsible for the annual Arts Festival of Carrollton and many gallery shows, workshops and demonstrations around the community. The guild allows student artists to join when accompanied by adults, otherwise artists need to be 18 or older.

Carroll Symphony Orchestra

The Carroll Symphony Orchestra has created an alliance with the Carrollton Center for the Arts. The Carroll Symphony Orchestra started in October 2002. The Symphony is conducted by Terry Lowry and overseen by a Board of Directors. The organization also houses several other programs including the Carroll County Wind Ensemble, and newly formed Carrollton Jazz Orchestra, & Carroll Symphony Orchestra Music Academy. Carroll County Community Chorus

The Carroll County Community Chorus is open to anyone at least 18 years old who loves to sing. The Chorus sings two concerts a year, Christmas and Spring. Singers can join at the beginning of each season through the third rehearsal. Christmas rehearsals begin the Monday following Labor Day and Spring rehearsals begin the second Monday in January and are held every Monday from 7 – 8:30pm. Jack Gantt is the conductor and Jan Adams is the pianist. No auditions are required. Choral members are required to provide their own performance attire.

Carroll County Community Theatre

The Carroll County Community Theater has brought quality theatrical experiences to Northwest Georgia since 1978. The group has tackled contemporary works and classical literature on stage. If you are a thespian, please consider auditioning for a play.

Carrollton Writers Guild

Carrollton Writers Guild’s mission is to encourage and support all forms of written expression and currently has more than 35 members. The Guild is a diverse group of writers (ages 18+) of all genres and levels of skill that hosts a variety of competitions, workshops and events. All programs are open to the public to join and participate. The Writers Guild meets on the following days and times:
