Children of all ages and abilities should have the opportunity to experience classical dance. Whether you want to introduce your child to dance or already have an experienced dancer, Carrollton Center for the Arts has an option for them. Our programs teach the fundamentals of different dance types, introduce and refine skills and provide on-stage performance opportunities. Classes vary by semester and we offer drop-in classes for adults!

Participating in dance classes should be affordable. We keep our prices reasonable and we don’t require students to purchase costumes, travel or compete.
We offer Creative Movement & Tap, Pre-Ballet and Tap, Classical Ballet, Pointe, Adult Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern / Contemporary Dance.

Dance Birthday Parties
Looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate your child’s birthday? Host a Dance Birthday Party at the Carrollton Center for the Arts!
Our dance parties are designed for children ages 3–7 and includes a dance instructor who will lead the children through a 40-minute dance party featuring basic dance steps, fun songs, interactive games, and opportunities for creative free dance. After the dance portion, children will enjoy a simple themed craft activity (or families may choose to provide their own craft). The remainder of the party time is yours to celebrate with cake, refreshments, presents, and time with family and friends.
Party Details
- Cost: $215
- Party Length: 1 hour and 30 minutes (includes 40 minutes with our dance instructor)
- Includes an additional 15 minutes before the party for setup and an additional 15 minutes after the party for cleanup (total rental time is 2 hours)
- Dance instruction provided by a qualified dance teacher
- Craft activity included
- Maximum of 12 children (additional charge for larger groups)
- Geared toward ages 3–7 (special requests for older age groups may be accommodated)
