Help support young artists in our community by participating in our Youth Scholarship Fund Silent Auction. Proceeds will be awarded to fund instruction and supply costs of Center for the Arts programming.
HOW TO BID?
- Auction is open for early bidding now through August 28 at 5pm. Place a bid by calling Renee Deese at 770-838-1083 or by email at rdeese@carrollton-ga.gov.
- Final bids will be made at the Season Opening Cocktail Party on August 29, from 6–7:30pm. Winners of the silent auction will be notified by phone or email on Monday, August 31.
- Package winners should make payments by check to the Community Foundation of West GA or CFWG Arts Fund.
Package One: Private Paint-In Party for Six
Starting Bid: $82
Enjoy complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres with your friends as artist Scott Foxx helps you create your own acrylic masterpiece. No art experience? No problem. Just bring your pals and learn and laugh together. This event must be held by April 24, 2021. The winner of this package must contact Tim Chapman for scheduling.
Package Two: Culinary Art Master Class with Chef LaToya
Starting Bid: $112
You’ll learn culinary tips and techniques in this master class with Chef LaToya, of Heaven in Your Home Catering. Your party will be provided with ingredients, instruction, step-by-step methods and, of course, wine service for a three-course dinner. Saute and season, dish and dine, this is a foody’s dream come true! This event must be held by April 24, 2021. The winner of this package must contact Tim Chapman for scheduling.
Package Three: Private Movie Night in the Danny Mabry Theater

Even the biggest TV cannot compete with the magic of a theater’s big screen. Gather 25 of your friends and family and have the Danny Mabry Theater all to yourself for a private screening. Moe’s Southwest Grill will provide a fajita bar prior to the movie. Drinks will be provided and all our comfortable seats are the best in the house. This event must be held by April 24, 2021. Package Five: Healing Hands
Current Bid: $100
Four acupressure/Tuina sessions at Healing Hands are tailored to your individual, therapeutic needs. Acupressure has been proven effective in treating multiple health imbalances including chronic aches and pains, headaches, digestive issues or stress and anxiety. Each session is approximately 30 minutes and will include tips about things you can do at home to continue bringing your body back into alignment. Masks are required during all appointments and outdoor sessions are available for those who do not feel comfortable being indoors. All sessions must be used by May, 2021.
